When you use the Kasundo Commuter App, we collect the following types of information:

- Mobile number

- Profile photo
b. Location Data
- Real-time GPS location (to connect you with Riders and calculate routes)
- Trip history
c. Device Information
- Device model, operating system, and app version
- IP address
- Log data (e.g., crash reports, usage data)
d. Financial Information
- Payment method details (e-wallets, cards)
- Subscription or ride payment history
e. Communication Data
- Chat messages and call history with Riders (in-app only)

2. How We Use Your Information

- Verify your identity and eligibility as a Commuter
- Provide real-time ride booking, matching, and navigation

- With Riders: To display your name and profile photo during bookings.

4. Real-Time Data & Location Services
The Kasundo Commuter App continuously collects your GPS location while you are online as a Commuter. This ensures accurate bookings, efficient navigation, and safety tracking. You can turn off location tracking by going offline in the app, but this may limit functionality.
5. Data Retention
- Commuter account data: Retained as long as your account is active.
- Trip history: Retained for at least 5 years for regulatory and safety purposes.
- Financial records: Retained for tax and compliance purposes.
- You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting support, subject to legal requirements.
6. Security of Information
We implement appropriate security measures, including:
- Encrypted communication (HTTPS/SSL)
- Secure storage of Commuter documents and payment details
- Access control and authentication for sensitive data
Despite these safeguards, no system is completely secure. Use the App at your own risk.
7. Your Rights
As a Commuter, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request corrections or updates to your data
- Request deletion of your account (subject to regulatory requirements)
- Withdraw consent for certain data processing
- File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) in the Philippines
